NEW DELHI: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has praised the Modi government’s introduction of the Women’s Reservation Bill in Parliament, stating that it has the potential to set a precedent for the entire country.
“The way the BJP has championed the women’s reservation bill by placing women at the forefront to empower them is fantastic. It has the potential to become a benchmark for the entire nation, prioritizing women from every household,” Ranaut said.
The actress, known for her roles in films like “Tanu Weds Manu,” was recently spotted at the New Parliament building, where she was stunned by its beauty.

“We were absolutely stunned, it’s incredibly extravagant. The amrit kaal of Bharat is imprinted in the new Parliament. It beautifully showcases Bharat and Bharatiya culture, from handicrafts to religion,” she remarked.
Ranaut also emphasized the potential impact of the Women’s Reservation Bill, not only in India but globally.
“India has had at least one female Prime Minister, just look at other countries, like America, where there has never been a female Prime Minister,” she said.
