Kailash Vijayvargiya Interview: My Son Fulfilled Putradharm; I’m Doing Pitradharm

As election fever grips Madhya Pradesh with polls starting on November 17, our Executive Editor, Rohan Dua, caught up with BJP’s Kailash Vijayvargiya in Indore. The seasoned state politician and national general secretary shared that although he secured a ticket, his son Akash Vijayvargiya voluntarily opted out, writing to JP Nadda requesting no ticket allocation. When questioned about his satisfaction with the party entrusting him with the election responsibility, Kailash Vijayvargiya emphasized his commitment to following the party’s orders. “We are the party’s soldiers. We work on their orders. If the party decides that we have to contest elections, we don’t think about the future,” he stated. He labeled Kamal Nath as an arrogant leader, asserting that the fall of the Kamal Nath government in 2018 was a consequence of his haughty demeanor. Despite Congress being in power for just 15 months, during that time, the public came to realize, “Congress ki niti bhi kharab hai aur Congress ke neta bhi.”
