NEW DELHI: JSW Sports Squash is set for a major boost in India. JSW Sports and the Squash Rackets Federation of India (SRFI) have signed an MoU to bring three international squash tournaments to the country. The agreement marks a turning point for Indian squash, ensuring top-level competition and world-class training facilities for the nationโs players.
The announcement follows the successful conclusion of the JSW Indian Open in Mumbai on 28th March. Anahat Singh won the womenโs title, making history in Indiaโs first-ever PSA Squash Copper event. The tournament also introduced the innovative outdoor glass court format, setting a new standard for squash events in the country.

Squash Events in Mumbai, Delhi & Chennai
The MoU guarantees three PSA Squash Copper tournaments in India over the next three years. Mumbai, New Delhi, and Chennai are expected to host these international events. This initiative will bring elite competition to India, allowing domestic players to test their skills against global talent.
Beyond tournaments, the partnership will introduce top international coaches to work with Indian players. Currently, six Indian players rank in the worldโs top 100. The exposure to high-performance coaching will strengthen their game and prepare them for future challenges, including the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.
The move reflects a broader effort to elevate squash in India. With increasing global recognition and support, Indian players will have the opportunity to compete at the highest levels. The collaboration between JSW Sports and SRFI is a strategic step toward making India a powerhouse in squash.
