NEW DELHI: Reliance has quietly launched a new smart tracker called JioTag Air. This is their second tracker and comes with more features than before. It’s compatible with both Apple Find My and JioThings. Priced at Rs 1,499, you can buy it now on JioMart. It comes in Red, Blue, and Gray colors.

Also, JioTag Air works with both iOS and Android devices. It supports iPhones with iOS 14 and newer versions, as well as Android devices running Android 9 and above.

The JioTag Air is a Bluetooth tracker that helps you find your lost items like your keychain or wallet. It works with Apple’s Find My network and the JioThings community network. You can use the Find My app on your iPhone or the JioThings app on Android to locate your things.

In the retail box, The JioTag Air has a lanyard to attach to a keychain and an extra battery. Jio says that each battery should last for 12 months.

The JioTag Air is not just a lost-and-found tracker but also a global tracker. It has a built-in speaker that can produce a loud sound of up to 120 dB to help you find it. It offers various modes:

  • Find Mode: Track it using Apple’s Find My network with turn-by-turn navigation.
  • Reminder Mode: If you leave the tracker behind, your phone will remind you.
  • Lost Mode: Helps you track a lost JioTag Air.

The JioTag Air can also function as a pet tracker, providing features such as:

  • Displaying the last connected location.
  • Ringing to help locate the tag.
  • Alerting the phone when disconnected.
  • Silent region settings.
  • Device sharing capabilities, and more.

Although the JioTag Air doesn’t have as many features as the Apple AirTag, it’s also not as costly, priced at Rs 3,490. If you need a budget-friendly tracker, the JioTag Air could be a good option for you.
