New Delhi: In a significant show of solidarity, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his wife, Kalpana Soren, met with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwalโ€™s wife, Sunita Kejriwal, at the Delhi CMโ€™s residence on Saturday. The meeting was attended by AAP Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Sanjay Singh.

Sanjay Singh took to social media to announce that Hemant Soren had extended his full support to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in their fight against the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal. Singh emphasized that Sorenโ€™s own experienceโ€”having spent the last five months in jailโ€”underscored the need to resist what he termed โ€œpolitics of revengeโ€ orchestrated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP. Both Kejriwal and Soren were allegedly targeted to hinder opposition campaigning, and their detention lacked any substantial basis.

Hemant Soren himself posted on social media, vowing unwavering support for Kejriwal. He highlighted a perceived conspiracy against the Delhi Chief Minister and praised Kejriwalโ€™s resilience in the face of adversity. Sorenโ€™s message resonated with the sentiment that truth would ultimately prevail.

Notably, during Sorenโ€™s period of arrest, AAP had rallied behind him, decrying his detention as illegal. Now, as the tables turn, the party continues to stand by Kejriwal, inviting Mrs. Sunita Kejriwal to address a recent India Alliance rally.

The political landscape remains charged, with leaders from different states coming together to support one another in their battles against adversity.
