SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Police has highlighted a propaganda clip produced by a terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammad and has urged the public to “refrain from sharing it in any way with anyone.”
A six-minute video with a poster of ‘Phantom’, a 2015 Hindi movie starring Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif, was released by JeM around 2 pm today.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police said “the enemy” released the 5 minutes 55 seconds video at 2 pm Monday and people should not forward it.

“Forwarding of content of this nature is an offence under sections 13 and 18 of UAPA,” the police warned. First, they should not forward it in any manner to anyone.”
“Second, they should report by a message as to who they have received this propaganda video from. Mention the telephone number and the date and time of the receipt of the video.”
Phantom is a political thriller that spans multiple countries globally. The narrative follows protagonist Daniyal, whose quest for justice takes him from India to Europe, America, and the turbulent Middle East.

The Pakistani group Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), founded by UN-designated terrorist Maulana Masood Azhar, was responsible for carrying out a terror attack in Jammu’s Doda last week. The assault resulted in the deaths of three soldiers and one Indian Army officer during an intelligence-based operation.
Previously, the group released a video depicting the aftermath of the attack and the deceased soldiers. The group claimed the attack was in retaliation for a prior incident where the Indian Army had dragged the corpse of a terrorist following an encounter.
