AHEMDABAD: At a time when Union Home Minister Amit Shah is contesting from Gandhinagar for the second time and eying 10 lakh margin, his son Jay Shah is actively shoring up support from one neighborhood gathering to another.
Despite the distractions of the IPL cricket season, BCCI secretary Jay Shah carved out time to campaign in Narayanpura, the ancestral precinct of the Shah family, engaging with the Jain community.
During his campaign at the Jain Sabhas, Jay Shah reiterated his fatherโs stance on Article 370. He lambasted Rahul Gandhi and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury for their apocalyptic predictions post the abrogation, juxtaposing their prophecies with the prevailing peace in the region. โThey said Article 370 annulment would result in โQatl-e-aamโ (bloodshed), but it didnโt happen,โ Jay Shah remarked.

Engaging with the electorate, Jay Shah delved into the intricacies of governance, elucidating the significance of policy interventions such as the Ayushman Yojna, catering to 80 crore beneficiaries, and the seamless access to healthcare for individuals above 70 years.

The 35-year-old BCCI secretary, Shah articulated the vision of hosting Olympics and clinching 100 medals, underscoring BJPโs commitment to catalysing Indiaโs sporting renaissance.
As the electoral crescendo escalates in Gandhinagar, Jay Shahโs impassioned outreach in Narayanpura resonates as a microcosm of BJPโs electoral strategy, amalgamating grassroots connect with a panoptic vision for Indiaโs growth trajectory. โIf anyone visits civil hospitals of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, it has facilities to feed the patient as well as the relatives of the patient,โ claimed Shah.
