New Delhi: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has confirmed that Guwahati Police has registered an FIR against YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia (BeerBiceps) and other influencers amid the Indiaโs Got Latent controversy, accusing them of allegedly promoting obscenity on the reality show.
The case, filed under Cyber PS Case No. 03/2025, invokes multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) 2023, the IT Act, the Cinematograph Act of 1952, and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act of 1986.
