About WAVES 2025
WAVES 2025 is set to be a landmark international event hosted by the Indian government in Mumbai, Maharashtra. As the first global gathering of its kind, the summit is designed to unite artists, content creators, media executives, scholars, and policymakers under one platform to discuss the evolving dynamics of the entertainment industry.
Key issues like the rise of artificial intelligence, the impact of streaming platforms, misinformation, intellectual property rights, and media sustainability will be placed under the spotlight.
But beyond the technicalities, WAVES 2025 aims to offer something deeperโa shared vision of unity in a fragmented digital world. The summit will stress cultural understanding, collaborative innovation, and equitable access to storytelling platforms.
By presenting India as both a creative powerhouse and a hub of cultural diplomacy, the summit hopes to build lasting connections between communities, industries, and nations. WAVES 2025 will serve as a reminder that while entertainment may entertain, it can also enlighten, connect, and heal.
