Government advises Indians in Israel to exercise caution amid conflicts

NEW DELHI: The Government of India has issued an advisory on Indian nationals residing in Israel requesting them to remain vigilant and exercise caution.

In the wake of the fight by Islamist attackers belonging to Hamas, a militant group, and other such outfits against the state of Israel, the Ministry of External Affairs has issued an important advisory to Indians in Israel.

The advisory states “In view of the current situation in Israel, all Indian nationals in Israel are requested to remain vigilant, and observe safety protocols as advised by local authorities. Please exercise caution, avoid unnecessary movement and stay close to safety shelters.”

The advisory by MEA further provided contact details to reach out for help. It provided the website of the Israeli Home Front Command. It also gave its own contact details, mentioning its number and email id.

It read “In case of emergency, please contact us at 97235226748 or leave a message at [email protected]. The embassy personnel remain at your disposal for any further guidance.”

Over 50 terrorists from Hamas infiltrated into the country on Saturday killing four while another 100 were wounded.

According to Israeli officials, a declaration alerting a “state of war” has been declared across the country with bomb sirens blaring all across. Over 5,000 bombs had been deployed into the Jewish nation while causing havoc across the entire country.
