NEW DELHI: Shrikant Tyagi, who is on the run following his video of harassing a woman that went viral, was never shy about bragging about his political connections.
Tyagi’s social media is filled with pictures of him posing with some of the top political leaders in the country as well as in Uttar Pradesh.
Sources told The New Indian that Tyagi used to brag about his political connections as he threatened fellow residents of the Grand Omaxe Society at Sector 93 in Noida.
Sources also said that Tyagi came in contact with political leaders during his stay in Lucknow. It is learnt that Tyagi called himself a national executive member of BJP’s Kisan Morcha and national coordinator of Yuva Kisan Samiti.
Refuting the reports, BJP MP from Gautambuddh Nagar, Mahesh Sharma, said, “Tyagi was never a member of BJP. The way he misbehaved with the woman can never be accepted.”
