Official statistics show that out of the 46 terrorists killed in the Union Territory this year, 37 were of Pakistani origin, with only nine being locals. This marks the first time in the 33-year history of terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir that the number of foreign terrorists eliminated is four times higher than that of local terrorists.
The Ministry of Home Affairs reports that approximately 130 terrorists are currently operating in the Valley, with half of them being foreign terrorists.
