NEW DELHI: The Inspire Institute of Sport (IIS) is set to host the first-ever IIS Haryana Dangal Championship on February 19-20, 2025. The event will be held at the Shaheed Madan Lal Dhingra Multipurpose Hall, Giri Centre, Hisar. Around 150 wrestlers from across Haryana will compete.

The IIS Haryana Dangal Championship will showcase top talent. The event includes Freestyle, Womenโ€™s Wrestling, and Greco-Roman categories. A total prize pool of Rs 15 lakh is up for grabs.

โ€œThis championship is a milestone for IIS and Haryana wrestling,โ€ said Manisha Malhotra, President of IIS. She emphasized the platformโ€™s role in developing young talent.

โ€ข Womenโ€™s Wrestling: 53kg, 68kg, and above
โ€ข Menโ€™s Wrestling: 57kg, 77kg, and above

 

All podium finishers will receive cash prizes.
