NEW DELHI: The Inspire Institute of Sport (IIS) is set to host the first-ever IIS Haryana Dangal Championship on February 19-20, 2025. The event will be held at the Shaheed Madan Lal Dhingra Multipurpose Hall, Giri Centre, Hisar. Around 150 wrestlers from across Haryana will compete.
The IIS Haryana Dangal Championship will showcase top talent. The event includes Freestyle, Womenโs Wrestling, and Greco-Roman categories. A total prize pool of Rs 15 lakh is up for grabs.

โThis championship is a milestone for IIS and Haryana wrestling,โ said Manisha Malhotra, President of IIS. She emphasized the platformโs role in developing young talent.
Weight Categories
The event will feature multiple weight categories:
โข Womenโs Wrestling: 53kg, 68kg, and above
โข Menโs Wrestling: 57kg, 77kg, and above
All podium finishers will receive cash prizes.
