Sometimes we come across such rare medical conditions that even doctors and scientists seem helpless in the matter. One such case has come to light in the village of Makri in the Panna district of Madhya Pradesh, where horns are mysteriously growing out of the head of a woman.

Sixty-year-old Mimiya Bai Kori has been suffering from a rare illness in which she has developed a painful protuberance on her head. These protuberances look just like horns growing out of her head. These ‘horns’ have been growing slowly over the past three years.

Kori has visited many doctors for treatment, but even they have failed to address the problem. “The doctors here are puzzled by this strange disease,” Kori said. “Even my family is very upset with my condition,” she added.

“Something like a horn has been coming out of her head for the last three years, which causes her unbearable pain. Many times she has shown it to the doctors, but this disease is beyond the understanding of the doctors here,” Kori’s relatives said.

“The doctors here have advised us to visit top specialists in the city, but we are unable to do it because of financial compulsions,” the relatives said.

Expressing her helplessness, Kori said that she has been suffering from physical and mental pain for the past three years. She laments that no one understands her pain and suffering.

“For the last three years, I have been very upset. I have pleaded with everyone, but no one listens to me. I am suffering from pain. I hope to God to get rid of this disease and also to get rid of this helpless suffering,” Kori said.
