Five security personnel sustained critical injuries in a terror attack in Kokernag, Anantnag district, South Kashmir, on Wednesday.

The injured officers have been airlifted to a nearby hospital, and a joint operation by the Indian Army and J&K Police is underway in Kokernag.
DGP of J&K, Dilbag Singh, ADGP of Kashmir, Vijay Kumar, and Lt. Gen. Rajiv Ghai, GOC 15 Corps, have also reached the encounter site, accompanied by senior officers from both the J&K Police and the Indian Army.
