Kashmir Killings: Amit Shah Chairs High-Level Meeting With NSA Ajit Doval, Others
NEW DELHI: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday chaired a high-level security meeting in his office at the North Block over after spate of killings of civilians including non-Muslims in Kashmir.
National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval, Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla and Intelligence Bureau (IB) chief Arvind Kumar were among those present in the meeting.
Reports say Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) chief Kuldiep Singh and Border Security Force (BSF) Director General Pankaj Singh also attended the meeting.
The immediate meeting was called after two school teachers Sukhvinder Kaur & Deepak were killed by terrorists in Srinagar today, mere two days after popular pharmacist Makhan Bindroo was shot dead.
The two killed were government school teachers, identified as Sukhwinder Kaur and Depak.
One of them is a Kashmir Pandit and while the woman belongs to the Sikh community.
