So far, the collapse of the pedestrian suspension bridge has seen the deaths of 135 people. Police have arrested nine people related to the case.
A case was lodged against firms tasked with the maintenance and operation of the British-era structure on Monday. The bridge reopened five days ago after extensive repair, but sans a fitness certificate.
Heart-rendering video footage from moments before the collapse showed the cables of the bridge snapping in a few seconds, taking down hundreds of visitors on the river.
