NEW DELHI: At Google I/O event, CEO of Google and Alphabet Sundar Pichai, highlighted the company’s advancements in AI and introduced new developer tools. Pichai claimed that over 2 billion users use Gemini, and more than 1.5 million developers use Gemini APIs.
Major Announcements During This Event:
1. Gemini 1.5 Pro: Now available to the public via Gemini Advance. Gemini Advance has a data analytics feature that will be launched soon. This feature will enable users to analyze reports and chats through the Gemini chatbot. Gemini Advance is expanding to 35 languages. Gemini is now able to summarize emails, highlight Google Meet recordings, and much more.
2. Ask Photos: Pichai announced the integration of Gemini AI into Google Photos. This feature allows users to recall a specific picture based on a single prompt.
3. Gemini App: This app will allow users to have voice conversations with the Gemini chatbot. Google claims the responses of the chatbot in the app will be very natural, and users can interrupt it at any time.

4. Gemini in Google Search: Google Search will now understand more complex searches with specific instructions. More personalized results will be produced.
5. Project Astra: This is a new AI agent capable of identifying objects in a room and answering specific questions about those objects.
6. Google Veo: This is a generative video model that can generate 1080p videos from text, image, and video prompts.

7. Imagen 3: This is a high-quality text-to-image model capable of generating images with better details and richer lighting.
