NEW DELHI: Gayatri Joshi, who starred alongside Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Swades,’ and her husband, businessman Vikas Oberoi, recently encountered a car accident during their vacation in Italy. Tragically, this fatal incident occurred while they were driving their Lamborghini, which collided with a Ferrari and a camper van. Unfortunately, the occupants of the Ferrari lost their lives in the accident.
As per reports, the two high-end automobiles were in the process of passing the large camper van that was in front of them. During this manoeuvre, they collided, resulting in a serious accident. The camper van also flipped over on the road, while the Ferrari became engulfed in flames.

Gayatri Joshi told Free Press Journal, “Vikas and I are currently in Italy. We were involved in a multiple-car collision. Thankfully, with the grace of God, we both are unharmed.” According to Vikas Oberoi’s manager, the couple is reportedly in good health.
According to the information available, the people who tragically passed away in the accident have been identified as Markus Krautli (67) and his spouse Melissa Krautli (63). They were residents of Zurich, Switzerland.

Gayatri Joshi, formerly an Indian actress, video jockey, and model, gained recognition for her role in the 2004 movie ‘Swades,’ which remains her sole acting credit to date. She has been in matrimony with businessman Vikas Oberoi since 2005.
Her career commenced when she became a video jockey on Channel V India. Subsequently, she transitioned to pursue her aspirations in the field of modelling. Furthermore, Gayatri has made appearances in music videos for songs such as Jagjit Singh’s ‘Kaghaz Ki Kashti’ and Hans Raj Hans’ ‘Jhanjaria.’
