Gap Partners With Reliance Retail; To Introduce American Clothing In India

MUMBAI: Reliance Retail India has announced a major long-term partnership with American fashion brand Gap Inc to introduce the brand in India. The deal with Gap comes days after Reliance announced a plan to open outlets of Pret A Manger, a popular British sandwich and coffee chain.

Through a combination of exclusive brand shops, multi-brand store expressions, and digital commerce platforms, Reliance Retail will introduce Indian customers to Gap’s most recent fashion offerings.

The collaboration aims to capitalise on Gap’s position as a top casual lifestyle brand and Reliance Retail’s proven capabilities in running strong omni-channel retail networks, increasing local production, and enhancing sourcing efficiency.

Customers in India will now be able to purchase Gap thanks to Reliance Retail, which offers the brand’s upbeat, youthful clothing for adults, teens, and children.
