NEW DELHI – In a remarkable turn of events amidst the Diwali festivities, the French Ambassador to India, Thierry Mathou, experienced an unfortunate mishap as he became the target of pickpocketing in the heart of Delhi’s vibrant Chandni Chowk. The incident occurred on October 20, while the ambassador was immersed in a celebratory shopping spree with his wife. It was not until they approached the vicinity of the Jain Temple that Mathou realized the absence of his mobile phone.
