With only two races remaining, McLaren, Ferrari, and Red Bull are locked in an intense contest, making the Qatar Grand Prix a crucial turning point.   McLaren holds a 24-point advantage over Ferrari and is in a prime position to secure its first Constructors’ Championship since 1998. A strong performance this weekend could seal the deal if they outscore Ferrari by 21 points over the Qatar GP and the season finale in Abu Dhabi. Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri have been pivotal to McLaren’s remarkable season. Norris, who secured pole position for the sprint race, expressed his optimism, stating, “Great qualifying today, especially to bounce back from where we were last time out in Vegas. We came here to get a pole, and we did that. Job done for today.” Piastri echoed similar sentiments, adding, “Our target tomorrow is a one-two so we maximize points for the Constructors.
