EXC: MoS Raosaheb Danve speaks on budget for railways

Union MoS for railways, Raosaheb Dadarao Danve shares his thoughts on record capital expenditure for railways in an exclusive interaction with The New Indian.

The provision of ₹2.41 lakh crores made for railways in the Union Budget 2023-24 will help speed up ongoing projects, he says, adding that all broad gauge lines will be electrified by the end of this year.

400 Vande Bharat trains will be made in India, he adds.
