Popular YouTuber Elvish Yadav, boasting a dedicated fan base of 15.7 million on Instagram and 14.6 million on YouTube, recently found himself in a dispute with Republic TVโs founder, Arnab Goswami.
In the aftermath of a heated argument regarding the prohibited use of animals under the Wildlife Protection Act of 1972, Yadav not only ridiculed Goswami but also issued a threat of a defamation lawsuit against him. Yadav, who was recently feted by Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar for winning Bigg Boss OTT 2, in a widely circulated video message, took Goswamiโs name multiple times and mocked him.
In a fiery YouTube video Yadav criticised Goswami, saying, โ Ye Arnab Goswami kitna pagal hai yar mai to phle defend krta tha isko ki ye sahi hai, ye sahi nhi haiโ (How crazy is Arnab Goswami? I used to think he was right and defend him, but heโs not right).
Goswami had recently insinuated on his show that Elvish Yadav was present at a rave party where he was alleged to be involved in the supply of snake venom.
During his debate show, Goswami claimed to present a video from a rave party, asserting, โThis is a picture of what is described as a visual from a rave party.

โThe larger debate at this point is that there is a lookout for Elvish Yadav, and he is about to be arrested. Itโs not just a wildlife case; itโs much more than that.
โThis isnโt solely about wildlife; itโs about public conduct, drug abuse, hideous behaviour and rave parties, and the concerning lifestyle choices of socially influential people.โ
Yadav, in his YouTube video, strongly denied any involvement and urged Goswami to carefully read the FIR. He stated, โYou must have been there at the party, but I wasnโt. Please go through the FIR before blaming anyone without proper research. I wasnโt at the party.โ

Yadav also threatened to file a defamation lawsuit against Arnab Goswami and other media outlets spreading false information about him. Itโs worth noting that Goswami has gone to jail, during the UPA regime , in connection with the 2018 suicides of an architect and his mother. This case was reopened in 2020 at the request of the deceasedโs family.
Coming back to Yadavโs case, the People for Animals (PFA) organisation had filed an FIR against the YouTuber on November 3, accusing him of supplying snake venom at rave parties.
In connection with the case, the Noida Police arrested five individuals during a party which was held at a banquet hall in Sector 51, organised by the PFA. The police have rescued nine snakes, including cobras, from their possession.
Furthermore, a 20-milliliter vial of snake venom has also been seized. This vial has been sent for testing to determine whether it contains any substances that could induce a party-drug-like effect in the human body.
On Friday, BJPโs Maneka Gandhi also demanded the immediate arrest of Yadav.
