NOIDA: Noida police on Sunday arrested a popular YouTuber and BigBoss OTT winner Elvish Yadav, who was recently caught on tape attacking a popular gamer Maxtern in Gurgaon, on the charges of aiding and facilitating the use of snake venom and possessing dangerous and banned reptiles at rave parties.
Last year, the Noida police filed an FIR at Sector 39 Police Station in this case. Yadav was summoned for questioning and later he was placed under arrest.

The FIR has invoked sections of 284, 289 under the Wildlife Protection Act as well as criminal conspiracy under 120 B.
Gaurav Gupta, the Animal Welfare Official of Maneka Gandhi’s NGO PFA and the main complainant in the FIR filed against Elvish Yadav, told The New Indian, “I am relieved that finally someone has arrested this man. We are thankful to UP Police for this impartial probe. Now, court will decide this case on merit.
“I was later feeling insecure, tense and anxious” said Gupta.
The FIR was filed against Yadav, and five individuals, who were arrested by the Noida Police.
According to the FIR, the accused contacted Yadav to obtain snakes for a rave party while Yadav provided by him with the phone number of his associate, who later facilitated the delivery.
