NEW DELHI: An Enforcement Directorate (ED) team led by Additional Director Suraj Yadav was attacked during a search operation at a farmhouse in South West Delhi’s Bijwasan area on Thursday morning. Despite being accompanied by Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel, the team faced violent resistance from individuals involved in a cybercrime case and their associates.
The ED team was conducting inquiries related to the cybercrime case at the location, which is owned by a Chartered Accountant (CA). Four individuals, including ED officials, sustained injuries in the attack. The injured officials were promptly taken to a nearby government hospital for treatment.
