Aniston opened about about the loss of Mathew Perry.

NEW DELHI: In a recent interview with Variety the actress of ‘The Morning Show’ Jennifer Aniston opened up about texting her ‘FRIENDS’, Mathew Perry, co-star on the day he died. During the conversation with, Rese Witherspoon, the actress talked about how she wanted fans to know that Perry was doing well. In her interview addressing the loss, Aniston revealed that Perry, who tragically passed away at 54 from an apparent accidental drowning (with an official cause of death yet to be determined), “was not in pain.”. “He was happy. He was healthy. He had quit smoking. He was getting in shape. He was happy—that’s all I know. I was literally texting with him that morning, funny Matty…. He wasn’t struggling.”, she said.

Perry, who had faced addiction throughout his life and had talked about it in the 2021 special ‘FRIENDS: The Reunion’ about his addiction and facing depression and other mental health problems.

The actress added, “I want people to know he was really healthy, and getting healthy. He was on a pursuit. He worked so hard. He was dealt a tough one. I miss him dearly. We all do. Boy, he made us laugh really hard.”

The actress previously mentioned the death of the actor in an Instagram post on November 15, where she finally commented on the tragic loss of Perry. Aniston wrote a deep meaningful note about the actor and his impact on her life. She also revealed how Perry was an integral part of the show and a part of “their DNA”.
