Dua Lipa is reportedly set to grace the stage at the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup opening ceremony and the final at Narendra Modi Stadium in Gijarat’s Ahmedabad. The Albanian sensation, trended all day on the micro-blogging site X after a video of her candid chat with cricket stars KL Rahul, Kane Williamson, and Shubman Gill, sharing insights into her preferences, went viral on the internet.

In a fun pre-match chat before the India vs New Zealand semi-final, cricketers Shubman Gill, KL Rahul, and Kane Williamson had a lively conversation with pop icon. KL Rahul kicked things off by asking about her favourite jersey number. He explained, “Jersey numbers are really important to us players. So my jersey number is one because I feel I must be number one at whatever I do, and win.” Dua, liking KL’s reasoning, revealed her lucky number: “I’d say 22. It is my lucky number.”
