The University of Delhi has announced its first cut off list on Wednesday and admissions have started. The last date for paying admission fees at the allotted college is October 24.

Online applications are open for DU from today. The university will conduct document verification and approval from October 19-22. Applicants are expected to submit original copies of their certificates, self-attested photocopies of all the documents the college has demanded for the verification process.

DU has held examinations under the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) and candidates have been allotted seats on the basis of their score, preference filling, seat reservations and availability of seats. The top colleges, along with Hindu College, Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Kirori Mal College, among others are providing admission in UG programmes this year on the basis of CUET.

The official website to check seat allocation is the official website of each college. Most years, DU releases three merit lists along with a spot allocation list for UG admissions 2022-23 but this year, DU is conducting admissions through Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for 79 programmes, across its 67 affiliated colleges. The university offers 206 subject combinations in the BA programmes as well along with dual degree programmes.

The DU had postponed the release of the first merit list in the late hours of Monday. The scheduled first round of seat allocations was originally scheduled to be released on Tuesday but was released on Wednesday.

The first merit list includes details of the candidate’s rank and the seats allotted to them based on the programmes and colleges to which they have applied to. If the candidate does not fulfil their admission process or does not accept their allotted seat their form will be cancelled. Everyday admission will be open from 9 to 5 PM.
