DRDO to showcase innovation advancements | Republic Day parade 2025

NEW DELHI: The Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) is set to display groundbreaking innovations during the 76th Republic Day Parade at Kartavya Path, New Delhi, on January 26, 2025. With the theme ‘Raksha Kavach – Multi-layer Protection against Multi-domain Threats’, the DRDO tableau will highlight India’s advancements in defence technology and its commitment to achieving self-reliance under the ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ initiative.

 

The DRDO tableau will showcase a variety of state-of-the-art systems designed to address threats across multiple domains. These include:

The tableau will also feature posters highlighting DRDO’s major milestones in 2024, including:

DRDO’s Pralay Weapon System, a tactical surface-to-surface missile featuring cutting-edge technology, will also be on display. Additionally, other DRDO-developed systems, such as the Nag Missile System, Pinaka Rocket System, BrahMos Missile, Short Span Bridging System (10m), and the Akash Weapon System, will feature in various Armed Forces contingents during the parade.

 

DRDO plays a pivotal role in designing and developing advanced military systems to support India’s defence ecosystem. Collaborating with academia, industries, start-ups, and the Armed Forces, DRDO continues to push the boundaries of innovation, aligning with the vision of ‘Make in India and Make for the World’.
