KOLKATA: Ending all speculations and a strong protest from the state unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Bengal Chief Minister will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi today at 4.30 pm.
Later on, Banerjee is also likely to meet President Draupadi Murmu.
In her meeting with PM Modi, Banerjee is likely to raise issues like MGNREGA and GST dues for Bengal.
The meeting with the Prime minister holds special significance as it followed TMC supremo’s trusted minister Partha Chatterjee’s arrest by ED.
On Thursday after reaching Delhi, Banerjee held a meeting with all TMC MPs. She discussed the happenings in the current Parliament session, the road to 2024 and various other issues. She also took stock of several activities and initiatives outlined for the coming days.
The Bengal CM is on a four-day visit to Delhi to attend the NITI Aayog meeting scheduled to be held on August 7.
