Sharma’s coach Dinesh Lad, who has been with the Western railways Cricket team for the past 39 years and has coached the same team for more than 15 years.
Dinesh Lad, despite being the coach and mentor of all-rounder Shardul Thakur, was not very confident in his inclusion in the playing XI.
For the All Rounder spot, we can have either Hardik Pandya or Shardul Thakur, it would depend on various factors.
Lad is confident the Mumbai Indians skipper would be able to fill the shoes of captaincy in white ball cricket.
