NEW DELHI: In a significant milestone for India’s ambition to host world-class meetings, conferences, and exhibitions, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the ‘YashoBhoomi’ MICE facility in Delhi’s Dwarka on Friday. The Prime Minister also inaugurated the extension of the Delhi Airport Metro Express line from Dwarka Sector 21 to a new metro station at Dwarka Sector 25, connecting ‘YashoBhoomi’ seamlessly to the city’s transportation network. ‘YashoBhoomi’ is one of the world’s largest MICE facilities, with a total project area of over 8.9 lakh square meters and a built-up area of over 1.8 lakh square meters. The heart of ‘YashoBhoomi’ is its convention centre, which spans over 73000 square meters and includes 15 convention rooms, including the main auditorium and the grand ballroom. These facilities can collectively accommodate up to 11,000 delegates.
