The Congress failed to win a single seat for the third straight assembly election, suffering heavy defeats across constituencies. Despite the setback, the party asserted that it would aim to return to power in 2030.

The Congress also dismissed the election results as a referendum on Arvind Kejriwal and AAP rather than a vindication of PM Narendra Modiโ€™s policies, vowing to rebuild after another electoral whitewash.

Voting for the Delhi Assembly Elections 2025 took place on February 5, with an overall turnout of 60.39%. The highest turnout was in Mustafabad (69%), while Karol Bagh recorded the lowest at 47.40%.

With this landslide victory, the BJP is set to return to power in Delhi after 27 years, reshaping the capitalโ€™s political landscape.
