NEW DELHI: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, on Wednesday, held discussions with education professionals, emphasizing the need to elevate the capitalโ€™s education system to the highest standards.

 

โ€œDelhiโ€™s education system should be the best in the country, matching the stature of the national capital. Achieving this requires collective effort,โ€ Gupta told reporters after the meeting.

 

She highlighted that various stakeholders from the education sector shared their views on multiple topics and assured that such consultations would continue to shape policies effectively.

 

Gupta also linked these discussions to the upcoming โ€˜Viksit Delhiโ€™ budget, set to be presented between March 24 and 26, stating that public participation will be central to its framework.

 

โ€œI believe this dialogue will be crucial in shaping the budget. It will truly reflect the aspirations of the people of Delhi,โ€ she said.

 

The Chief Minister further announced plans to engage directly with women, families, youth, and professionals from different sectors to understand their expectations from the government.
