New Delhi: The first glimpse of the official invitation card for the swearing-in ceremony of the new BJP government in Delhi has emerged.

The BJP, which has returned to power in Delhi after 26 years, will finalize its new chief minister at the BJP legislature party meeting this evening at the partyโ€™s Delhi unit office.

The meeting will be held in the presence of central observers, whose names are yet to be announced.

The chosen CM will then meet Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena at Raj Niwas to formally stake claim to power.

Preparations are in full swing for a grand swearing-in ceremony at Ramlila Maidan, where over 50,000 attendees are expected.

The event will witness the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Cabinet Ministers, and Chief Ministers of NDA-ruled states.

Several BJP Deputy Chief Ministers, including Brajesh Pathak, Keshav Prasad Maurya, Ajit Pawar, Rakesh Shukla, Kumari Diya, and Samrat Choudhary, will also be in attendance.

Additionally, invitations have been extended to over 50 celebrities and prominent industrialists, such as Akshay Kumar, Vivek Oberoi, Mukesh Ambani, and Gautam Adani.

Diplomats from various countries have also been invited, adding to the eventโ€™s significance on a global scale.

With the BJPโ€™s recent strategy of picking โ€œdark horseโ€ candidates in states like Rajasthan, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh, speculation is rife about Delhiโ€™s next CM.

Sources suggest that the race has narrowed to three BJP MLAsโ€”Rekha Gupta, Ashish Sood, and Vijender Gupta.

As Delhi awaits its new leadership, all eyes are on the BJP legislature party meeting and the grand oath-taking event at Ramlila Maidan.
