Crackdown On Food Kiosks Without RMA Licence In Jaipur

JAIPUR: A team of Jaipur Municipal Corporation-Greater visited food kiosks operating near Gaurav Tower and found many violations.

As per the instructions of Jaipur Municipal Corporation-Greater, Commissioner Mahendra Soni, the Chief Health Officer Rashmi Kankaria and the team inspected the food kiosks operating at Gaurav Tower, Malviya Nagar on Thursday.

Kankaria said that during the inspection, the said food kiosks did not have the RMA license of the Municipal Corporation and the cleanliness conditions were found to be below acceptable norms. A carrying charge of more than Rs 8000 was collected from the kiosk owners.

Officials said that according to the orders of the UDH, an RMA license has to be obtained for the operation of hotels, restaurants, sweet shops, ice cream parlours, canteens, bakeries, cafes and dhabas etc. operating in the Jaipur Municipal Corporation-Greater, border area.
