Cop Injured, Civilian Hurt In Grenade Blasts In Kashmir

A policeman was injured in a grenade blast outside the police control room, a high-security area, in Srinagar on Monday evening.

In a tweet, police said that the terrorists hurled a grenade at Police Control Room Kashmir, resulting in “minor” injuries to one police personnel”. “Area cordoned off. Further details shall follow,” police said.

In another incident, a civilian from the minority community was injured when terrorists threw a grenade at Gopalpora Chadoora area of Budgam district, on Monday evening.

The Kashmir Police Zone in a tweet said: Terrorists hurled grenade in Gopalpora Chadoora area of Budgam in which one civilian, namely Karan Kumar Singh, got injured. He has been shifted to Srinagar hospital for treatment where his condition is stated to be stable. The area has been cordoned off,” the police said.
