CM Mohan Yadav introduces investor-friendly policies in London, under “Make in MP” initiative

NEW DELHI: During his London visit, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav presented a forward-looking vision for the state’s growth while engaging with UK parliamentarians over a special luncheon. 

His remarks underscored Madhya Pradesh’s economic potential, highlighting its commitment to sustainability, ease of doing business, and international collaboration.

CM Yadav described the Indo-British relationship as a “Living Bridge,” echoing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s sentiment, emphasizing that this partnership is not only rooted in shared history but is also critical for shaping a sustainable future.

 

 

“Madhya Pradesh is at the forefront of India’s development,” Yadav stated, emphasizing its consistent double-digit economic growth and its leadership in sectors like agriculture, renewable energy, and tourism.

He highlighted the state’s investor-friendly policies, particularly under the “Make in MP” initiative, which focuses on renewable energy, textiles, and automotive innovation. “Our state has introduced progressive policy reforms aimed at fostering rapid, sustainable development,” he noted.

The Chief Minister invited the United Kingdom to be a Partner Country for the Global Investors Summit 2025 in Bhopal. He described the event as an unparalleled platform to showcase investment opportunities and Madhya Pradesh’s cultural heritage, saying, “This summit will reflect our commitment to economic growth while preserving our rich traditions.”

 

 

Yadav further stressed the importance of collaboration in skill development, higher education, and research, which he identified as vital for fostering a dynamic relationship between the UK and Madhya Pradesh. He said, “Our partnership holds immense potential for knowledge exchange and innovation in emerging sectors.”

Acknowledging the global demand for green energy, Yadav positioned Madhya Pradesh as a leader in India’s renewable energy revolution.

“Madhya Pradesh is committed to aligning with global energy goals and driving innovation in clean technology,” he stated. He also highlighted opportunities in agri-tech and digital services, describing the state as a “global investment hub opens to partnerships that promote innovation and growth.”
