It appears Kangana sparred with the security personnel at a checkpoint, rebelling against the idea of placing her phone in the tray as part of the security screening process. Then, a heated exchange of words took place around half-past three on Thursday afternoon.

Mohali International Airport sources said Kaur slapped the actress after she allegedly made derogatory remarks about women in Punjab during the farmers’ agitation against the three farm laws, suggesting that ‘women of the state participated in the farmers’ agitation for money.’

According to Ranaut, the CISF official, Kaur, allegedly argued with her and then slapped her. After arriving in Delhi, Kangana met CISF Director General Nina Singh and other senior officials and explained the episode to them. She has also demanded disciplinary actions to be taken against her. Kangana said she will be filing a complaint with the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in Delhi as well.

The female security personnel, posted at the curtain area, who allegedly slapped Kangana has been placed in the CISF Commandant’s room for questioning. Police are preparing to file an FIR.

Kangana, who won the Lok Sabha elections from Mandi constituency with a margin of 74,755 votes, was travelling to Delhi for the new Cabinet swearing-in which is expected over this weekend.

The  Bollywood actress turned politician is known to court controversies and her defiant attitude towards nepotism. She is yet again trending on social media as the video went viral in which she can be seen arguing with the CISF officials.
