NEW DELHI: Bollywood fans are abuzz with excitement after Rohit Shetty hinted at a potential crossover between two iconic characters—Ajay Devgn’s Bajirao Singham and Salman Khan’s Chulbul Pandey. This thrilling possibility was teased in a post-credit scene of Singham Again, where Salman Khan made an explosive cameo, reprising his memorable role from the Dabangg franchise. The scene left fans speculating about a new collaboration between the two beloved characters.

In a recent interview, Shetty and Devgn shared insights into the project’s potential. Ajay, who stars as Singham, spoke warmly of his camaraderie with Salman and their shared history in Bollywood. “We’ve always had a special bond. We know we’re there for each other, even in the middle of the night,” Ajay remarked, reflecting on their journey from their early film days in the late 1980s and early 1990s to stardom.

The excitement peaked when Chulbul Pandey, in the post-credits scene, teased joining Singham’s newly formed Shiva Task Force with his signature line, “Swagat nahi karoge humara?” (Won’t you welcome me?). Fans in theaters erupted, fueling anticipation for an epic crossover of the cop universe, an idea Shetty is known for.

Rohit, however, clarified that he sees the two characters collaborating rather than clashing. He hinted at a standalone project tentatively titled Mission Chulbul Pandey, separate from his established cop universe. “It’s been only a week since Singham Again released, so give me some time,” Shetty stated, indicating that concrete details may take a while to emerge.

If brought to life, this crossover would merge two blockbuster franchises and mark a unique cinematic moment for Indian cinema. Meanwhile, Shetty is also gearing up for Golmaal 5, the eagerly anticipated addition to his popular comedy series, featuring Ajay Devgn alongside Arshad Warsi, Kunal Kemmu, and Shreyas Talpade. With Mission Chulbul Pandey on the horizon, Bollywood’s cop universe is only getting more exciting.
