The Bihar government will not be able to complete its five year tenure and the state will go to polls in 2024, predicted President of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) Chirag Paswan. Raising questions on the resilience of the Mahagathbandhan government in Bihar on Monday Paswan said, โGoing by the current situation in Bihar, it is impossible for Nitish Kumarโs government to complete its term. Bihar election may see both the elections, the general election of 2024 and the State Assembly election together,โ said Chirag Paswan.
โMahagathbandhan government headed by Nitish Kumar was formed in August last year but after seeing political fights among leaders of the Mahagathbandhan government, it seems that the government will not be able to complete the Assembly tenure,โ said Paswan.
Chirag Paswan highlighted that Nitish Kumar has been flippant in his political choices just to remain in power, in process disregarding the wishes of the people of Bihar. Constantly changing camps has stripped him of his credibility, said Paswan. On Nitish Kumarโs possibility of returning to the fold of BJP-led National Democratic Alliance, the LJP leader said, โBharatiya Janata Party is now well acquainted with Nitish Kumarโs behaviour and his intentions. Now, BJP will not join hands with Kumar.โ
JDU MLA and former Bihar minister for rural development, Shravan Kumar has slammed Chirag Paswan for his statement, โSeems like Chirag ji is a clairvoyant. We all will witness the Lok Sabha elections soon and then everyone will get to know about the accuracy of his prediction. Mahagathbandhan government is not going to be dissolved. It will successfully complete its tenure.โ
