ChatGPT now available on WhatsApp for US users

NEW DELHI: OpenAI has launched a new feature that allows users to interact with ChatGPT via WhatsApp and phone calls. This development marks a significant step in making AI more accessible and user-friendly.

Users can now call ChatGPT by dialling 1-800-CHATGPT (1-800-242-8478) or send a WhatsApp message to the same number. This feature is designed to provide a simplified and convenient way to interact with the AI, even for those who may not be familiar with using apps or web versions of ChatGPT.

Key Features
Voice Conversations: Users can have voice conversations with ChatGPT by calling the dedicated phone number. This feature is particularly useful for those who prefer speaking over typing.

WhatsApp Integration: ChatGPT is now available on WhatsApp, allowing users to send text messages to the AI chatbot. This integration makes it easier for users to access ChatGPT on a platform they are already familiar with.

Free Usage: Initially, users in the US will receive 15 minutes of free usage per month for voice calls. The WhatsApp feature is available globally, wherever ChatGPT is accessible.

This new feature aims to make AI more accessible to a broader audience, including those who may not have access to advanced technology or prefer traditional communication methods. By offering ChatGPT on both calls and WhatsApp, OpenAI is expanding its reach and making it easier for users to get their queries answered quickly and efficiently.
