NEW DELHI: Team India has been rewarded with ₹58 crore for winning the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The BCCI announced this after India’s thrilling win against New Zealand in the final at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

 

India’s Historic Win This is India’s third Champions Trophy title. They earlier won in 2002 and 2013. The Indian team, led by Rohit Sharma, remained unbeaten. They defeated Bangladesh, Pakistan, New Zealand, and Australia.

BCCI Praises the Team BCCI President Roger Binny praised the team’s remarkable achievement. He said, “Winning back-to-back ICC titles is special, and this reward recognizes Team India’s dedication and excellence on the global stage.”

 

Binny also highlighted that this was India’s second ICC trophy in 2025, following the U19 Women’s World Cup win. He said, “Our cricketing ecosystem continues to produce champions, and this victory is another testament to our players’ skill and determination.”

 

Honorary Secretary Devajit Saikia added, “Their dominance in world cricket is a result of years of hard work and strategic execution. This victory has justified India’s top ranking in white-ball cricket. The players have shown immense dedication and resilience.”
