NEW DELHI: In a major crackdown on trans-border crimes, the Border Security Force (BSF) under the Guwahati Frontier has successfully seized Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN) during a special search operation in the South Salmara Mankachar district of Assam.

Acting on credible intelligence, personnel of the 45 Battalion BSF launched a meticulously planned operation in the border area. As a result, Fake Indian Currency Notes with a face value of Rs 1.97 lakh were recovered.

The BSF remains committed to securing Indiaโ€™s borders, ensuring national security, and upholding the integrity of the nation. Officials have reiterated their resolve to continue stringent surveillance and operations against trans-border crime networks.
