NEW DELHI: The BJP’s Moti Nagar candidate Harish Madanlal Khurana distributed ‘Mahila Samruddhi Yojana’ certificates to numerous beneficiaries in the constituency on Wednesday, in what is seen as a significant move aimed at empowering women. The event, held at a community centre in Moti Nagar, saw a large turnout of women who were eager to receive the benefits of the scheme.

 

The ‘Mahila Samruddhi Yojana’ is a government initiative designed to provide financial assistance and support to women entrepreneurs and self-help groups. By distributing these certificates, Khurana aims to promote economic independence and self-reliance among women in the area.

Khurana, who is the son of former Delhi Chief Minister Madan Lal Khurana, has been actively involved in various social and community initiatives in Moti Nagar. His candidacy for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections has garnered significant support from the local population, who see him as a continuation of his father’s legacy of service and development.
