BJP MP Manoj Tiwari visits youtuber Manish Kashyap’s residence: PM Modi knows I am here

NEW DELHI: BJP MP Manoj Tiwari visited YouTuber Manish Kashyap’s home on Thursday evening. During his approximately 45 minute conversation with Manish and interaction with the residents of Mahanav Dumri village in Bettiah, the MP asserted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is aware of his presence there.

Tiwari expressed solidarity with Manish. However, when asked if the BJP supports Manish Kashyap, he just stated that Manish is not alone. News of Tiwari’s arrival drew a massive crowd, nearly 50,000 people, which prevented them from organising a public meeting in the village. Manish Kashyap criticised the administration, accusing them of deliberately neglecting security arrangements.

After spending around 45 minutes, Manoj Tiwari departed for Patna. Manish stated, “We are the voice of the people. We stand against those who suppress our voice.” When asked if his party would support those becoming the voice of the people, Tiwari affirmed that they would certainly support them, 100 per cent.

Manish mentioned, “I am a journalist. I have created nearly 5,000 videos. I have questioned BJP MPs too, but none disturbed my household. You know those who disrupted my home.” He emphasised their struggle against the same individuals who brought about ‘Jungle Raj’ in Bihar.

When Manoj Tiwari arrived, Manish’s mother performed an ‘aarti’ for him. Manish Kashyap revealed that his freedom fighter grandfather had built this house. He also mentioned that his younger brother’s newlywed wife lives in this house. The courtyard was excavated, including an ancient water well that the entire household used, causing disruption.

Notably, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari had released a video with Manish four days ago, announcing his visit to Manish’s house. In the video, he criticised a certain political party in Bihar, accusing them of stifling the voices of the poor. He promised to visit Manish’s house and meet his mother.
