NEW DELHI: Kheoni, an Indore-based company, was among the exhibitors to bring a flurry of visitors on organic skincare products, including perfumes and soaps, made out of beeswax at the ongoing BIOFACH India 2024.

The company’s efforts are rooted in the creation and maintenance of Keshar Parvat, a biodiversity-awarded site in central India where over 35,000 trees were planted on a barren hill over the past seven years. This initiative supports Kheoni’s goal of promoting sustainability across borders.

Kheoni founder and CEO Ashwajeet Garg, at the BIOFACH INDIA 2024, told The New Indian,” “Because our products are made from natural ingredients, they don’t have any side effects. Additionally, we don’t use chemicals for fragrance but rely on original seeds,”.

The event is being held at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida from Aug 3- Aug 5.

Aligning with their motive to shift away from chemicals, they also showcased products like a face massage kit, moisturizer, and lotion made from Kokum butter, with rose powder and other natural ingredients added for fragrance.

“Our company emphasizes quality over quantity, with its products available to customers across India through shopping platforms like Nykaa and Amazon,” said Kheoni marketing executive Shaminder Singh.

With upcoming festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi and Diwali, Kheoni also showcased eco-friendly idols and worship materials, such as dhoop and diyas made from cow dung, which are easily decomposable and hold cultural significance in India.

Kheoni’s sustainability story reflects a broader mission to integrate pristine, wellness-promoting natural ingredients into everyday life.

The brand’s product packaging aligns with its eco-friendly ethos, utilizing materials like reclaimed pine wood, organic cotton, coconut coir, paper, and palm leaves. Some products even boast a zero carbon footprint, reinforcing Kheoni’s commitment to reducing environmental impact.

At BIOFACH India 2024, Kheoni showcased its dedication to combining tradition with sustainability, offering products that embody the essence of nature while supporting broader environmental goals.
