The strained relationship between the couple reached a boiling point when Madhu’s rare visit to the village ended in a violent altercation over monetary demands. Rani’s health quickly deteriorated, necessitating her immediate admission to the Arrah district hospital for critical care.

Recounting the events leading up to the incident, Rani said that her marriage to Madhu took place in 2020 in Kanali village. However, her husband’s increasing detachment and refusal to provide financial assistance left her emotionally and financially vulnerable. Even when Rani desperately required her husband’s presence in the village, Madhu callously declined.
