NEW DELHI: President Joe Biden is facing criticism for reportedly hosting a barbecue event for his staff at the White House amid the Hamas attack on Israel. According to a pool reporter, music was heard playing on the White House lawn, while pro-Palestine demonstrators at the gates chanted ‘Free Palestine.’
As reported by the Daily Mail, when the reporter asked about the noise, a spokesperson explained, “The President and First Lady are hosting a BBQ for White House Executive Residence staff and their families.” President Biden has not issued any public remarks regarding the attack.
Reports indicate that four US citizens have tragically lost their lives in the Hamas attack on Israel. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has affirmed that the US is making extensive efforts to confirm reports of deceased and missing Americans. Those who have fortunately remained unscathed are currently seeking a means to leave Israel. Passengers have gathered at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport, attempting to depart the country.
According to Forbes, an Israeli representative has verified that there are American citizens among the “scores” of hostages currently being detained by Hamas militants in Gaza. In the course of the attack, Hamas fighters infiltrated Israeli communities and fired missiles, allegedly causing the loss of lives of hundreds of people. In a televised speech, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu characterised the attack as “murderous.”

Another commented, “Any leader as removed from the reality of the past few days, has no business being in charge of America’s business.” “Biden has no moral compass,” a third shared, while a fourth added, “My sister’s birthday is tomorrow. About 15 of us were going to get together to celebrate. A unanimous decision was made to postpone the dinner to a later date. No one was in the mood to party.”
“My God. Unbelievable,” a fifth remarked, while a sixth expressed, “Gross and a dereliction of duty”. A seventh stated, “This guy is an embarrassment!” and an eighth added, “it’s unbelievable.. worst President EVER.. !!!!!!”
